Community Outreach Fund
Johnston County residents face a number of barriers that limit them from getting access to the quality health care they need and deserve. Lack of local providers in rural communities, low income rates, limited or non-existent health insurance coverage, and lack of transportation are all existing barriers that lead to higher rates of chronic disease and mortality. Access to health care was identified as the top barrier on Johnston County’s 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment.
How Your Gift Helps
The Community Outreach Fund will help provide Johnston County families access to quality health care even closer to home through comprehensive health education and preventative health initiatives, especially for low-income, elderly and disabled populations.

Mobile Outreach Campaign
